360° Global Learning Experiences

Outside The Classroom Experiential learning is a hallmark of SENG’s well-rounded education. You have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of co-curricular programs designed to foster holistic development. Local, Regional, and International Competitions Competitions are a great way to express your creativity and develop problem-solving skills. They also provide an opportunity to hone teamwork, management, and leadership abilities, as well as enhance communication and social skills. SENG students have consistently succeeded in competitions related to robotics, aeronautics, programming, design, innovation, and entrepreneurship, among others. Self-driven Activities The Undergraduate Student-initiated Experiential Learning (USEL) Program gives students the opportunity to spark their imagination by crafting and executing their own projects with faculty guidance. Round-the-clock access is available at the USEL Lab and Fei Chi En Dream Team Open Lab, offering students ample resources, tools, and space to test their inventive ideas and achieve their goals. Early Research Opportunities The signature Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) offers students the chance to participate in academic research under the guidance and supervision of professors. Outstanding projects may be honored with an award and/or sponsorship.
