Students with strong interest in COMP or AI should apply to Computer Science and Engineering whereas students with strong interest in Computer Engineering should apply to Computer Engineering. Those who have a strong interest in MEIC should apply to Electronic and Computer Engineering. 6. Students admitted to the School-based choices Engineering with an Extended Major in AI or Science (Group A) with an Extended Major in AI have to drop the Extended Major in AI if they enrol in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Engineering Program or Data Science and Technology Program after admission. 7. Students admitted to School-based choice Business and Management will join the Major Selection Exercise (MSE) to declare major within the first 3 semesters of study.
