ENGLISH LANGUAGE ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS English is the medium of instructions at HKUST. Applicants seeking admissions to undergraduate programs may satisfy our English language requirements through one of the following qualiications:

CREDIT TRANSFER Students need to complete a minimum of 120 credits before graduation. Holders of a recognized local sub-degree will be granted 21 and up to 60 advanced credits (50% of total credits required for graduation). * The ifth year (i.e. the 9th and 10th regular terms) of the Dual Degree Program in Technology and Management is ofered on a self-inancing basis. For reference, the tuition fee is HKD60,000 p.a. for local students and HKD170,000 p.a. for non-local students in 2024/25 (subject to change).
