Subject Requirements Students from all subject areas are welcome to apply . The following subjects are normally expected for the quantitative-oriented programs: HKUST Business School considers the following in making admissions decisions: • Public examination results • Academic performance • Non-academic achievements • Personal statement • Referees’ reports • Interview performance (if applicable)
BBA in Economics BBA in Finance BSc in Sustainable and Green Finance • IBDP: HL Mathematics or SL Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches • GCEAL: Mathematics, Further Mathematics or Pure Mathematics • SAT+AP: AP Calculus AB or Calculus BC • Other qualifications: Mathematics

Boundary Scores Boundary scores of some popular qualifications for admissions to the HKUST Business School are given below for general reference. Applicants’ overall profiles are always holistically assessed. Those with strong academic / non-academic profiles but marginally miss the reference scores may also be considered. School-based Admissions: IBDP: ≥ 34 | GCEAL: ≥ AAB | SAT Reasoning: ≥ 1320 + 4s in two AP subjects OR 4s in five AP subjects Program-based Admissions: Individual programs with different expected scores starting from the following boundary scores. IBDP: ≥ 36 | GCEAL: ≥ AAA | SAT Reasoning: ≥ 1350 + 5s in two AP subjects OR 55444 in five AP subjects Application Timeline As our assessment is conducted on a rolling basis, interested students are recommended to submit applications as early as possible.
