WELCOME TO HONG KONG UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (HKUST)!
HKUST provides students with an abundance of opportunities to step beyond the campus and gain invaluable global exposure. I had the incredible chance to immerse myself in a completely new country, culture, and language when I studied abroad at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. But that's not all – I was also thrilled to have been selected as a delegate at the 11th University Scholars Leadership Symposium in Bangkok. There, I had the chance to learn from inspirational speakers and exchange ideas with fellow young leaders from around the globe who are passionate about creating positive change. These are the kinds of enriching, life-changing experiences that are par for the course at HKUST. So what are you waiting for? The world is your oyster – let HKUST help you seize it.
the support and resources to unlock your full potential. We look forward to welcoming you to our campus and helping you embark on an enriching and transformative university journey. I am confident that your time at HKUST will be an experience like no other.
At HKUST, we are committed to cultivating global leaders and innovators. As a leading research university in Asia, we offer an unparalleled educational experience with academic excellence, vibrant campus life, and boundless opportunities. Our diverse international community represents over 70 countries. You will learn from world- class faculty, collaborate with talented peers, and immerse yourself in the unique culture of Hong Kong - a thriving cosmopolitan city in the heart of Asia. We encourage you to explore our wide range of undergraduate programs, from engineering and business to science and humanities. Whatever your academic interests, you will find

I'm incredibly grateful for the HKUST exchange program and The Franklin Fund for International Business Studies. Studying at UC Berkeley expanded my global perspective and offered invaluable insights into business methodologies. Interviewing a Hong Konger at Pixar and exploring cities like New York and San Francisco enriched my understanding of cultural and business dynamics. This experience has been pivotal in shaping my future career and entrepreneurial aspirations. Davis Chow BBA in Operations Management

HKUST’s scholarships have transformed my academic and personal journey. It recognized my efforts in social entrepreneurship, enabling me to create the 'Dream Discovery Scheme' mentoring program for high school students. This deepened my commitment to social impact and allowed me to build a social enterprise with HKUST's ideation fund. Additionally, my involvement with Enactus further fueled my passion for social entrepreneurship within the HKSTP ecosystem.

BI-ANNUAL CAREER MOSAIC JOB FAIR

Career development program
COMPANIES The Career Fair offers a highly effective platform for students to reach out to employers for promising internships and graduate employment opportunities, as well as for employers to get to know our students. Over 200 including BlackRock, Deutsche Bank, Jardine Schindler, LVMH, Cathy Pacific, Deloitte, Accenture, HSBC etc. HKUST has a strong track record and reputation for supporting students in their future careers by providing resources such as a live job board, useful career guidance, networking opportunities at job fairs, and a valuable alumni network to help them achieve success in their careers. I was fortunate enough to intern with an American asset manager as their summer alternatives specialist in my penultimate year. The professionalism, expertise, innovation, and energy deeply impressed me. Kudos to HKUST for its engagement with different banks, asset managers, hedge funds, corporates, and more; I learned more about the companies and available roles. Meanwhile, HKUST is actively supporting students in pursuing their careers overseas. This support is extremely helpful in today’s world, especially as the APAC region is on the rise.
